Veneer, which is cut by trees and glued by two or more layers after application of glue, is called plywood.
Today, we will briefly talk about the machinery needed to make plywood:
1. Rotary cutting machine: rotary cutting machine is a special equipment for cutting trees into veneers, and it is also the first process for making plywood. Generally speaking, veneer is separated from plywood, that is to say, veneer is a factory and plywood is a factory. There are many kinds of rotary cutting machines, but the whole machine can be divided into two categories: card rotary cutting machine and non card rotary cutting machine. 2. Guillotine machine: guillotine machine is a kind of equipment that cuts the veneer out of the rotating machine into a certain specification. There are three commonly used forms: manual, foot and electric. Manual skin cutting is a common way of skin cutting with low investment and low efficiency. It's flexible and convenient to cut the skin by foot, and the investment is not large, but only one skin can be cut at a time, so the efficiency is not high. Electric guillotine can cut dozens of skins at a time, with a slightly larger investment, but with high efficiency, it needs certain conditions for use. Manual and electric guillotines are suitable for non stick rotary cutting machines, while foot operated guillotines are more flexible for those with stick rotary cutting machines.
3. Veneer adapter: in the production of plywood, plywood, multi-layer board, floor base material, craft furniture board, building lamination board, container board, joinery board, the area of the board is small, which requires longitudinal splicing of multiple boards.
4. Veneer dryer: veneer dryer is a kind of equipment for drying veneer which has been peeled. The purpose is to reduce the moisture content of veneer, so as to facilitate the application of glue when making plywood. 5. Glue making equipment: glue making equipment is the equipment for manufacturing plywood adhesive. In general, there are professional manufacturers to make glue, only a few of them make it by themselves. We must have special workshop and professional technicians for our own manufacturing, so we do not recommend our own manufacturing.
6. Glue mixing machine: glue mixing machine is a kind of equipment for mixing plywood glue. Because plywood glue is not suitable, additives are needed for mixing, so this equipment is specially used for mixing the viscosity of glue.
7. Gluing machine: gluing machine is the equipment for gluing veneer. After gluing veneer, the paver can lay it to a certain thickness before pressing. 8. Precompressor: precompressor, also known as cold press, is the equipment that precompresses the plywood paved by the board laying workers into the basic thickness in advance, so as to make effective use of the hot press. 9. Hot press: hot press is a main process in plywood manufacturing process, which directly affects the quality of plywood. For details, see the following articles "selection of plywood hot press" and "plywood hot press parameters".
10. Edge sawing machine: edge sawing machine is a kind of equipment for sawing hot pressed glued boards into one specification. The equipment can be divided into three types according to the fixed specifications: 3 x 6 feet, 4 x 8 feet and adjustable specifications. 11. Sanding machine: sanding machine is the equipment for finishing the surface of the finished plate, which is related to the surface of the product, so it is very important. For details, please refer to the following article "specifications and selection of Sanders".
12. Forklift: plywood production can not be separated from forklift, need to adjust the position of the board at any time.
