1. Blade grinding and installation:
First, use a grinder to grind the back of the rotary cutting blade into a wedge angle of 19-21 degrees, and then use an oilstone to grind the blade.
Due to the deflection of the wood during the rotary cutting, the blade should be slightly bent to form an upward curvature when installing the blade. The value depends on the nature of the wood to be rotary cut and the remaining round wood * small diameter (generally about 0.15m) at the end of the rotary cutting. When the clamping screws at both ends of the blade are tightened, adjust the top bar in the middle, so that The blade forms an upward curvature, and then all clamping screws are tightened. The installation angle of the blade can be adjusted by turning the hand wheel. In addition, the blade is installed according to the horizontal height of the clamping shaft center, the height of the blade tip is 0.1-0.20mm, and the height of both ends of the blade must be completely consistent. (measure with special quantity).
The gap between the nut and the screw rod of the pushing tool holder should not be too large, otherwise the tool holder will vibrate when rotating the wood, which will affect the quality of veneer rotary cutting. The screw nut clearance can be adjusted by adjusting the locknut.
2. Grinding and installation of pressure gauge:
1) Round rhombic dipstick: round rhombic γ is 0.1-0.2mm, which is suitable for rotating hard broad-leaved tree species (tree species with strong lateral fiber binding force) and thin veneer less than 1mm.
2) Beveled edge pressing ruler: it is suitable for the production of soft hardwood (such as poplar, basswood and tree species with weak lateral binding force of fiber), pine and thick veneer.
